ZIG ZAG Gallery is proud to continue over 40 years of history featuring contemporary American craft in the Dayton community. Our long standing goal is to offer you creative, whimsical and affordable selections with a primary emphasis on "Made in America".
Our story began in the Oregon District as Fifth St Gallery which was founded by Tim Patterson. The next chapter included a move to Centerville when we became Woodbourne Gallery. While Kim Megginson joined this creative endeavor in 1990, she and her husband, Brad Abbey, were excited for the opportunity to become owners of this legacy in 2003. The change in ownership resulted in the birth of ZIG ZAG Gallery.
What is the definition of ZIG ZAG? “A course of sharp turns in alternating directions”…that certainly sums up our history as well as the ever changing selection that we feature. Stop in and see what’s new!

Kim & Brad
Kim is our fearless leader who travels to various shows throughout the year to find exciting new work to tempt you. Her husband Brad is her silent partner and moral support... and has also been known to keep us stocked in chocolate.
Angela
Our French speaking, animal loving, energizer bunny brightens any day at ZIG ZAG! She has a generous spirit and loves sharing the fascinating stories about many of our artists... with maybe a cat or teenager story thrown in just for fun!
Christine
We first met Christine as one of our models from Noble Circle and love her creative streak whether it’s creating journals from recycled materials or accessorizing our newest arrivals.
Dawn
Fran
A calligrapher when she’s not at ZIG ZAG (and the most crazy snow obsessed person we know), with Fran’s quiet, quick wit there is never a dull moment!
Kathryn
Having been a part of our quirky little family since 2011, Kathryn is a creative, big hearted Mom who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise of all things ZIG ZAG!
Our social media guru, Dawn's busy life includes being mom to three daughters and volunteers her time with the Backpack program when she's not at ZIG ZAG.
Mary Jean
Kim’s mom and our favorite special event girl. As a very spunky 92 years young, Mary Jean is an amazing example of living life to the fullest!
Maureen
With her delightful energy, when she's not at ZIG ZAG Maureen enjoys grandchildren, volunteering at a therapeutic riding stable & loves a vacation that includes hiking in Colorado.

Our website designer, Rebecca’s detail oriented personality has been a great addition to our group.
